Jonathan Nunn Testimonial

I first became aware of Free Step Super Fix and Lamalert through a client who had seen an article and decided to rind Andrea Gollick for advice. The mare Bungle had been on a high dose of metformin and was suffering from frequent, spontaneous attacks of laminitis and was deteriorating rapidly despite all of our efforts with remedial shoeing and veterinary treatment. Bungle was the first horse I had seen on Free Step Super Fix and I was amazed by her rapid positive response when I saw her after she had started the supplement treatment. Within a matter of weeks the fat pads and cresty neck were starting to subside and her owner was delighted with how much sounder and happier her horse had become. I had been concerned previously for Bungle's future whether she would survive at all.

Within a matter of weeks the fat pads and cresty neck were starting to subside and her owner was delighted with how much sounder and happier her horse had become. I had been concerned previously for Bungle's future whether she would survive at all.
Having seen this brilliant results in this case I decided I should speak to Andrea Gollick from Free Step as I had been seeing a huge increase in horses suffering from equine metabolic syndrome and cushings disease with little response to all our efforts in treating them.
Andrea and Dr Carol Michael agreed to meet to explain their supplements and how they were researched and developed.
Many things that Dr Carol Michael explained to me fitted perfectly into my own thoughts on modern equine management techniques and pasture care. Many EMS sufferers I trimmed and shod seemed to not respond well to metformin and as farriers we cannot help reduce the effect of the laminitis attacks on the feet without first addressing the primary cause.
It is my belief as farriers we can do a lot to directly advise clients in care and management of their equines in order to achieve maximum treatment success. In farriery recomending dietary requirements and management is important to back up our work. Good advice will help keep horses and ponies sound and clients happy and content.
I have recommended Free Step Superfix and Lamalert to some of the most serious long suffering laminitic horses and ponies under my care and to date every one has had dramatic positive results and I am sure in at least three of these cases the treatment they have received has possibly helped avoid death.

CRICK LODGE FREDDY BEAR (MINIATURE SHETLAND)
Crick Lodge Freddy Bear (Miniature Shetland)

My Freddy Bear is a black Miniature Shetland pony with a blue eye. He is one of the most gentle ponies ever. He is seven years old now and a great draw to small children who like to fuss.

Four years ago, Freddy developed laminitis. At first it was controllable by putting him in a starvation paddock and giving him equpalazone medicine. Over time he got steadily worse and after his blood tests and x-rays, I was told he had an 11% rotation in all his feet making standing and walking very painful. He seemed to be afraid of everything from strangers to traffic.

He had a vet visiting almost weekly and had been put on one bute sachet in the morning and half a sachet in the evening. Sometimes he could not even stand up let alone walk around. Something had to be done to stop his suffering. I kept getting told to have him put to sleep but he is my baby and I wanted to try absolutely everything before making that horrid decision.

After speaking to a Livery owner who trains difficult and riding horses, she told me about product call Superfix FreeStep which had helped a horse on her yard get over her laminitis. I got all the details from her but was a bit sceptical about this wonder drug, but was willing to give it a try. I moved Freddy onto this ladies yard and could not believe his transformation !!

We have been there for four months now and since moving there and giving him Superfix FreeStep, he has not had any more painkillers, is losing weight, is more relaxed than ever before and is GALLOPING around the paddocks with his stable mate. His personality has changed too. He is very laid back and loves being groomed, meeting people and playing with children. Not bothered about barking dogs either..

I would never have believed the transformation was possible, but my little Freddy is a walking miracle. I will be able to start training him to lunge and take him for walks down country lanes soon. A thing I have never been able to do with him. He is not afraid on big lorries any more either and will walk past moving cars without trying to take off in fear.

After having Superfix FreeStep for two months, he is now taking Superfix LamAlert, which is now controlling his recovery. He has two scoops daily in his feed and has not looked back. I am highly recommended the use of theses products as they have greatly changed my Freddy’s life and made one owner extremely happy. A true miracle.

The ladies who run the company, Andrea and Eve could not be more helpful. Every step of the way thive give advice and encouragement. Nothing is too much trouble for them and for that I give them my heartfelt THANKS !!

Just thought I would send you an update on Chaz. When I met you last year, his prognosis was not good. With the help of my vet and farrier working together and the bespoke supplement you made for him, his recovery has exceeded all expectations.
Just thought I would send you an update on Chaz. When I met you last year, his prognosis was not good. With the help of my vet and farrier working together and the bespoke supplement you made for him, his recovery has exceeded all expectations.

Of course, I will never jump him again, so no Working Hunter & no Eventing or Hunter Trials, but I can enjoy him in so many other ways.

He is a fantastic horse to hack, and we go for miles, whatever the weather!
I've been to a couple of side saddle events on him - he is wonderful - I still have a way to go, to perfect the art!

We won a ridden hunter class, even with remedial shoes! He never put a foot wrong, it was on a surface and I felt like I was riding on a cloud.

We also came first in a dressage test in June - the first one, since he went lame in March 2011.

The proudest moment so far this year was when my son Richard rode him at the Pony Club Area dressage competition at Moreton Morrell. They qualified for the Pony Club Championships in August!

Twelve months ago, I never dared to imagine this would be possible. I would have been happy, just to have him as a hack, which at times, even that seemed doubtful.

Please feel free to put this email on your testimonial page.

I am truly grateful.

Regards

Amanda

Silver Sonnet Testimonial by Cathy Beaumont

Being a thoroughbred Silver Sonnet is a very sensitive horse to ride and I have to ride her quietly and lightly. She can be quite temperamental especially when she comes into season. When she is in season she can suffer extreme discomfort and will squirm when touched and will even sometimes throw herself against the wall!
I have schooled her for the racehorse to riding horse show classes and after the first half a dozen shows I felt she was half ride-able but her temperament could let her down and I knew if I could improve on this we would be in with a chance.
Someone mentioned the Superfix range which were originally formulated for thoroughbreds, so I tried two products Superfix Steady and Superfix Relaxed, the first one is a calmer and the other a muscle relaxant which overcomes the flight or fight reflex.
The difference in Silver Sonnets temperament was so clear and immediate, now when I go in a class I am always pulled in either top or second and have enjoyed incredible success so far this season.

World Champions - Supported by Free Step and Relaxed...

Ben Hopkins is only 10 and in 2010 we purchased his pony Merlin. Merlin already a champion many times over really was going to be a pony of a lifetime for ben. He has been ridden by children a lot older than Ben and when he came I visited Carol and Andrea on their stand in HOYS and asked if they had anything just to relax Merlin in the ring. They advised me to try Superfix Relaxed....and we have never looked back. It has worked wonders for the pairing....It has never slowed merlin down, or taken any edge off his spritely character but it just relaxed his mind and body and gave them utter most trust in each other.

I use relaxed on the 'big' occasions, and can't recommend it enough.

Whilst with Andrea I explained that these ponies work hard, all year round they travel abroad competing, from March to October, they practice twice a week and rarely have a break, I was advised to try Free step too....and I have been amazed by the outcome. The ponies thrive on the supplement, and I have since put my whole yard on it.

I can't thank Andrea enough for all her support, this year truly has been amazing, my little boy is the new British Champion, Home International Champion with wales and now the new World Pairs Champion, what an achievement for a boy who still has two years in this age category.

Keeping my ponies supple, relaxed and on their best form is really important, and the super fix products have really helped us all year!

Thanks Guys x

Holly is a 26 year old New Forst x thoroughbred mare, who over the last 6 years has had four bad attacks of Laminitis.
FREESTEP TESTIMONIAL: SANDRA FRANCE, HUDDERSFIELD..

Holly is a 26 year old New Forst x thoroughbred mare, who over the last 6 years has had four bad attacks of Laminitis. Since introducing Freestep to Holly in April this year to get her sound and insulin levels back to normal, she then went onto LamAlert in June and is fully sound and is back being ridden every week, with no cresty neck or fat pads.
We are over the moon and Holly now has her very own Paradise Paddock, so she can go out and graze and live a full and normal life... Thanks FreeStep,, Sandra France.

My pony was diagnosed with laminitis and EMS last November, she had gone off her legs even though we were very careful about what she ate and we managed her turn out really well.
TESTIMONIAL FROM ANGELA BLACKMAN

My pony was diagnosed with laminitis and EMS last November, she had gone off her legs even though we were very careful about what she ate and we managed her turn out really well. She was first tested for Cushings even though she wasn’t showing any symptoms of the disease, and the vet also decided to look at the insulin levels which were elevated and she was prescribed bute and metformin.
She was still on the bute and metformin by the end of July this year but we had seen no improvement, she was still lame even though she was kept entirely off the grass and was being turned out in a sand school.
My vet’s bills were £800 and with no improvement we were wondering if the kindest thing would be to put her down as she had become depressed with the pain. Luckily two things happened which made a life saving difference, the first was our farrier came to fit plastic shoes and the second he recommended a product called Freestep.
At first I was reluctant as we felt we had tried everything and got nowhere, the pony was still in pain and we had almost given up on her, the product was not cheap and we didn’t want to get our hopes up.
Finally I rang Andrea at Freestepsuperfix and we had a long discussion about diet and the Freestep product and I felt reassured from our conversation that if I were to give it to my pony we might make some progress.
After making some changes to the diet including soaking the hay we began a course of Freestep, almost immediately it made a visible difference, within 2 weeks the cresty neck had softened then disappeared altogether, the fat pads over the shoulders and around the tail became less and better still the pony became sound. We have finished our second pot of Freestep and are now going on to Lamalert which is stage 2 of the management process and the pony is still sound and is now in full work, we are even managing to turn her out in the Paradise Paddock arrangement as recommended by Andrea.
We (farrier included) were all absolutely amazed by this product and I can’t recommend it highly enough, we were going to have her put down and within a short period of time she is not only sound but is very full of herself which we forgive her for because it’s so good to see her well, and she is still in full work! Thank you

Testimonial for LamAlert from Wendy Hagger
So its been 5 weeks since we started Patsy on LamAlert and thought you'd be pleased to hear that she is responding to the treatment very well.

Already the cresty neck is down and she is in excellent form for a 27 yr. old.

Testimonial from Kirsten William
My pony suffers from intermittent bouts of laminitis and it has been hard to manage and I have had to cancel shows. The vet suggested doing some tests and found that the levels of insulin in the blood were very high and prescribed Metformin.

Unfortunately the drug made no difference to the condition and the pony became so bad that we were afraid we would lose her.

I was showing another pony at Hoys in 2011 and met a friend who recommended trying Freestep as she had had fantastic results on a similar pony.

From a pony I thought I would lose, to a pony that is now more than ready to show this year, thank you Superfix.

ReLaxed testimonial from Marie Dyson, Bridhouse, West Yorkshire
“ My horse can be quite tense when I compete chatting and grinding his teeth as soon as he enters the ring as well as at times throwing a random party piece in part way through his individual show losing him a place! I have tried a few various calmers on him not making any difference really so was dubious whether Freestep Re-Laxed would actually make any difference to him. I gave him the calmer when I got to the show whilst preparing him and instantly noticed he was really chilled out. He can sometimes come off the wagon a little excited but he came off like a little lamb. I warmed him up and took him in his class and won the class and later that day took Supreme Champion I was so pleased, the calmer had definitely taken the nervous and tense edge off him without effecting his performance and overall sparkle! Thank you Freestep Superfix I will definitely be using this product again and have recommended it to my friends”

FreeStep testimonial from Julie Templeton Show Team
We are coming into our busiest time of the year and the ponies are normally entered in couple of classes per day at the Championship shows.

At home they are usually worked on our surface which is far kinder on their legs, joints and feet. However towards the end of the week we are often concerned that the ponies movement has lost some of its sparkle due to the hardness of the ground and the amount of work required prior to entering the ring.

It is common that we have to pull the ponies out of their class because they are not at their best, which is disappointing for the children and the Team.

We were therefore very interested to try Superfix Free Step which has been especially formulated for show animals.

We have been delighted with the results and the effects are almost immediate. Any soreness and stiffness disappears and the movement regains its freedom and flair.

We can give the supplement either as a protection or as a remedy which has provided us with greater confidence in our ponies comfort going into the ring !

Testimonial from 'Mo'
Meet Mo, my daughters much loved 4 year old, Mo.

We have owned Mo for just over a year and we brought him to break in. He was not easy to break, which suprised us as he has a really sweet nature. When we finally got on him again, he was not that easy to ride.

He was very unbalanced we had a lot of head throwing ,which at first was just put down to being a baby, as time went on he just seemed very uptight.

We did all the usual things, different bits, checked his teeth and back. Then I was recommended superfix relaxent to try. After about a week of him having it in his food, we noticed a change in him, much more relaxed when being schooled, and my daughter found him much easier to handle .

Happy pony, Happy daughter.

Highly Recommended
